Stay Away From Afrihost

I would not recommend anyone to use Afrihost, as they have no idea what they are doing.

I ordered a 25gig package to be delivered, 2 weeks later, still nothing. I cancelled the order and re-ordered a package to be collected, drove all the way out to their offices, fetched it, everything was fine. Got debited 3 times R202.55, then again R67.52 then again R598.00 in a matter of 15 days. This did not make sense as the package was only R299.00 per month, only to find that according to their system I received the second package that I cancelled.

Right, I spoke to 5, Yes 5 consultants, Matshepo, Ryan, Larry, Liz & Elvirna and I am still being billed for the second package, which believe it or not, shows active on my profile, but cannot use.

Get the latest invoice yesterday, and again the second package is still there and I have still not been refunded.

Then when speaking to Larry, telling him my disappointment and that I want to cancel everything, he tells me that I will be billed for a cancellation fee of R999.00 if I cancel. What a cheek, bullying one to pay for something you never received.

If this matter does not get resolved I will inform my employer (who uses Afrihost for his company) to also cancel.
