STAY AWAY from AFRIHOST

Afrihost is TERRIBLE. I find it HARD to believe that they won numerous awards for BEST ISP etc. I am currently subscribed to their Business DSL 10MB line and 10MB Business Uncapped Bundle Deal for which I pay just over R1300 pm. I run my business from home and therefor require uninterrupted internet connectivity especially when i am on conference calls. My average internet use is 4.5GB per day so I am definitely not an abuser who would need to be throttled etc. The reality is that I barely receive 5 mbps download speed on a good day and am constant;y being disconnected. Reaching out to their Customer Service Department via phone, instant message or their wattsapp(beta) is an absolute nightmare. I have written an email to their complaints dept and did not receive an acknowledgement or response to my problem. Folks - if you are looking for an ISP provider then stay away from AFRIHOST. They are all hot air making lots of promises but failing to deliver on the basics.
