SLOW SERVICE - ADSL

When I initially received my ADSL service years ago I could sync at 10mbs to the exchange (DSLAM). Over the years I left AXXESS and joined Afrihost. The sync speed dropped to 6mbs and eventually two months ago to 4mbs. The line quality is now so bad that I am lucky too get 2.5 mbs. When it rains it drops even lower. Afrihost thinks I don't understand how this all works and they are not taking me seriously.
