Afrihost consultants are very friendly.. so much so that they smile while they tell you pay your bills or get another ISP.My salary gets paid the 4th of each month. Afrihost refuses to allow flexible payments. They want the debit to go off on the 1st. Take it or leave it and they basically told me just that. Every month i pay the bill on the 4th when my money shows in my account. I CANNOT PAY EARLIER. I have called them multiple times asking and receiving the same answer. To bad our debit orders are the first or else we (they) have to pay bank charges or some **** like that.Usually i could just resubmit the payment on their portal on the 4th but because of the past months my payments couldnt go trough on the 1st they took away that option. Now i have to pay by credit card. And if you dont have one? Too bad they dont take eft's. Their answer is make sure the money is there on the 1st. Or make a double payment. Sounds easy. If i could do it or afford to do so i would have. It would be easy if it was 200 or 300 rand. But the pakage i run is way more than that. And its a neccessary package. And they dont even care if you go to another isp.

We only accept debit card payments or credit card payment. No EFTs. Our debit orders run on the 1st of the month, our billing run begins on the 25th of the month. We have enabled a feature to allow clients to add credit to their account, the payment has to be done before the 25th of the month, before our billing run starts. If the payment is made before the 25th, then the debt order on the 1st will be offset against that payment.
The system has been developed to allow clients to make the payment for the new month and not after the month has began. There are unfortunately our terms of service with regards to payments. Debit orders only go through on the 1st of the month. We are sorry that we are not able to meet your needs.
