SET UP IMAP E-MAIL ACCCOUNTS ....NOT!!!!POP E-MAIL ACCOUNTS --Otherwise ONLY 2 week back up.

We got ****** on Sunday and in the process our laptops were ******. I was under the impression that my e-mail history is being backed up on the Cpanel. Turns out that it wasn't.

The simple reason being that I set up an POP e-mail account and not an IMAP. Now for you IT experts, it is common knowledge what the difference is. We, normal people, don't.

When the e-mail set up details were mailed directly from the server to me, it gave IMAP and POP as options. Nowhere it states the difference.

So I am angry. It is just another insult to the already injury of being ******.

I don't know much, but I personally think the less people make us of IMAP e-mail settings, the better for Afrihost. All I can assume (not being an IT specialist) is that IMAP takes up a lot more space which in turn cost them money. (So shhhhh, let us be quiet about the difference.)

I am so angry.
