Relegade Afrihost to Junk Status Service Provider

I app**** for a fibre package in January 2020 but took Afrihost a month before they could respond to my order. This took a lot of active follow ups on my side and all through out nobody at Afrihost knew what they were doing.I eventually canceled and at that exact moment they activated the line for installation and boy was I missed off! I decided to give them chance and approved installation, well, that went wrong in typical Afrihost fashion. They sent Vumatel instead of Vuma Aerial to do the installation, technically it doesn't matter who did the installation as long as my account and package was appropriately matched but not in this case, my Afrihost fibre account was with Vumatel instead of Vuma Aerial.Tthat caused a communication error between the line, router connection and internet connectivity. This all happened on the day of installation, I discovered this issue by myself when the router was not connecting to the internet by calling Afrihost who are conveniently closed but Vumatel was open ad understood my issues and figured out that the issue was the misalignment from Afrihost side. I went back to Afrihost WhatsApp line and provided them information who admitted that they made a mistake and will be issuing a new order with the right information. In my personal experience WhatsApp as a service to fix technical issues yields 100% failure rate, Afrihost WhatsApp line takes 2 hours before someone gets allocated to you and another hour before responding to your greetings and then it gets worse from then on. the only way to ry communicate with Afrihost is to email the technical support email or call the company but still that does not mean you will receive help. Long story short, since February 24th 2020 ay of installation, I have struggled with network connection, the router drips connection every 2 minutes. I reset the router, white box, unplug, bought a long LAN cable but nothing has worked. The router does not work if not connected to the LAN/WAN cable and again only picks connection for 2 minutes. It takes me 2 days to watch a 30-40 minutes of series on Netflix. it takes 3 and half days to watch 1 hour movie without. I don't start from the beginning, I pick up where left off and will not get anywhere. The picture is grainy, blurred and forever trying to pick up signal. It also takes 5-10 minutes to send a WhatsApp t someone, I constantly switch between my data and wifi because if I don't do that I will miss work meetings, deadlines, messages, notices, etc. The whole point for home internet was because I needed the assurance of internet connectivity at all times because buying data was running me dry, however this has not made thins easier ut worse. I pay my monthly Afrihost debit order, mobile contract and still continue to but additional data because I have a fibre package that doesn't work. I have contacted their CEO Gian Visser multiple times beginning on 7 April 2020 and he has not once responded to my email or acknowledgment of receipt. Afrihost furthermore, deducted an additional R99 from my account on 5 April for courier to collect the faulty router and the courier has not made arrangements to collect, Afrihost cannot give me an answer other than to escalate to a deep dark hole of nothingnesses about my problems without resolution. Afrihost decided to increase line speeds for all packages for 3 months starting 1 April but I have not enjoyed the benefit of the increased speed due to a non-functioning router. How does Gian plan to reimburse me for February, March, April and I'm assuming May for my normal line speed, increased speed and cost of telephone calls made to them and additional data I bought. Afrihost did not keep to their end of the SLA and breached their contract. I demand remedial and compositional solution in the form of a new line installation, new router that should do its job without being connected to the white box via LAN/WAN cable and free access for the months I missed out for which I paid Afrihost to provide a service. As far as I know Telecoms companies and courier services we're allowed to trade during the lockdown. I fail to see how this issue was not even considered from 24 February until today and do not accept the lockdown to be used as an excuse. Afrihost had ample time to take measures to resolve misses but had no interest at all from the beginning. Afrihost business practices are junk status but my money is not junk because it adds o to their EBIDTA and ridiculous performance payouts at the end of their financial year when they did not perform??
