Beyond poor service from Afrihost and Rain. From last year, I have been having massive issues with the Rain network, which started offering their uncapped LTE product for the majority of the day. In theory this sounds like a great deal for their budget subscribers, but I have been paying R1600 p/m for the LTE service for a moderately large cap. For more close on a year I have been having to deal with a network infrastructure which is quite literally bursting at the seams and which has just too many subscribers for its small infrastructure. In peak times (when I want to use my internet mostly), I have to contend with internet speeds which runs at 1Mbps if I'm lucky. On an evening like tonight, 100kbps. Numerous attempts to have it resolved and still nothing. Earlier today I cancelled my subscription after being a loyal Afrihost client for 9 years, starting off with ADSL in 2010. Shocking to see how Afrihost's service has deteriorated over the years since I first signed up with them, further compounded by Rain's poor infrastructure. The perfect storm
