PLEASE DO NOT TRUST AFRIHOST!!!!!!!

Let me start by saying that i only rated Afrihost with 1 star because i cannot choose a negative rating.

In April 2019 i ordered a NO CONTRACT sim because i did not want to be tied in to a contract should the service be sub standard and pathetic (which it was). Immediately i noticed that the speed was unbelievably bad, 0.5 Mbps and below. I asked their service centre to help and they rep**** with the textbook response of moving the router around. This is exactly why i opted for the no contract, sim only package. After countless back and forth correspondence they finally came back saying that there was nothing they could do. I then said sorry but this would not work for me as it was too slow to be beneficial.

After switching off my router and removing my sim i continued to be billed for my allocation which i did not use. Just yesterday i was debited for R999.00. Apparently this is a cancellation fee??????? For a NO CONTRACT SIM ONLY PACKAGE!!!!!! This is **************** and should be *******. I will not rest until something is done about this company's practices.

Afrihost you will not receive a cent from me and i will keep spreading the word about your service until you do something about it. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
