Pathetic Support
Afrihost has been absolutely useless when has come to support. When I first signed up with them my support tickets were answered withing minutes, now I'm lucky if they get answered at all.<br> <br> I even requested one of my tickets gets handed over to management and requested they respond to me about my problems, well that was ignored.<br> <br> Now I opened up another ADSL line problem for an issue that has never been rectified, my adsl line has been running between 2mb and 2.5mb for months and I have been paying for a 4mb line and uncapped service. <br> <br> Afrihost please can you get my line sorted ASAP?

We apologise for the problems you have had with your speeds.
As per Telkoms line classifications, an up to 4mbps line is any speed that is over 2 mbps up to 4mbps. Telkom have an up to 2mbps, up to 4mbps and up to 10mbps line packages. Your sync is currently at 2.5mbps which falls under the up to 4mbps classification. We do however realise that you may have previously gotten closer to 4mbps. We have logged a fault for you regarding the sync and have requested that this be corrected.
We have also noted the intermitted fault on the line and have added this to the fault. Please allow 48 hours for Telkom to make their initial investigation. If the issue has not been resolved, you can contact us at ***
