Pathetic customers service

About three weeks ago I contacted Afrihost after months of constantly struggling with unreliable internet reception. A consultant removed a duplicate profile and the router worked like a dream for about 3 days. Then it refused to switch on and I contacted Afrihost as the device is still under warranty. A consultant confirmed that the device will be collected for repairs. The next day another consultant told me the device will be replaced by a new one and the defective router will be collected simultaneously to the new one's delivery. Two days later the defective router was collected but no new one delivered. Last week Friday Dawn Wing delivered a router which I realised upon opening the package, was my old router. I didn't complaint about it, as I was only interested in having internet access again. However, the router didn't work and I have had no internet connectivity since. I sent 2 emails to Afrihost which didn't help at all. This morning I sent a HELP SMS to Afrihost. A consultant called me back within half an hour, but the call got dropped and he never bothered to call me back. An hour and a half later I decided to call the call centre myself and the consultant who answered the call said he had to check with the warehouse what repairs they've done to the device because everything else on the system checked out. He promised to call me back within 15 - 30 minutes. That was almost 4 hours ago. I'm utterly appalled by Afrihost's obvious lack of decent customer service! I've been without internet for 3 weeks with a large amount of unused data and more will be added on 1 October. I don't need that much data and will end up losing it because Afrihost is not concerned about delivering the service they promise. I already had to incur extra costs by buying data at an exorbitant rate on my MTN contract so I can at least have internet access for my cell phone. I will be ending my long and bitter relationship with you soon and moving to a ISP who's serious about good services levels.
