Not fixing my ADSL problem - bad connection.

I'm sorry Afrihost that I have to resort to this. I have been complaining about bad connection and 1mbps internet speed for many months now and no one seems to want sort my adsl line out. I started off with a "next day" installation from Openserve that was very impressive, they came in and connected my house up in no time, and I had the 8mbps I ordered. Then ever since we had bad weather my connection has dropped, to a point now where I'm around 1mbps to zero. And I have reported this so many times I have lost count. So eventually I, the customer, took a ladder, climbed the pole in my yard and found this very bad connection fill of water. The connection that openserve had done, was taped up by a 5 year old - open on both sides, connection inside was wet. I redone the connection completely, and taped it up properly, and sealed it with heat-shrink. My connection was a little bit better, but it has dropped again. After complaining again I get told by Afrihost that openserve will not be replacing the copper line, I must look for alternative - either LTE or Fibre.

I'm not asking openserve to replace the copper line. I'm asking afrihost to instruct openserve to inspect their connections and find the fault. It is that simple.

LTE is too expensive. Fiber is across the road from me according to the fiber map. So I'm stuck on copper until fiber is available 10 meters to my house.

So I don't know what to do anymore but to put my complaint over google until someone sees it that can do something about it, because it seems my complaints are going to deaf ears, I'm paying a lot of money for 1mbps to nothing. Approximately R800 per month including the telkom line rental.
