No Service Level

We initiated an existing migration of a current line with Afrihost in the course of last week, and requested them to take an existing line (of which the number was changed) and migrate it with the new number as indicated to Ryan. About a month ago I logged a call and also informed the lady on the end of the line that our current (new) phone line is of such nature that we can make calls but not receive them as instructed by Telkom. She investigated and confirmed this, as the new number vs. the previous (old) number.

We received an email from Ryan at their offices asking us for all kind of details (which is on record on their system) to which we rep****. NO CONFIRMATION received that the new line was basically switched over or that the request was acted on, we receive a bill which was already billed to our account!

I find this very strange as we have not instructed nor requested to have a new line migrated and we dont even know if this was done, BUT we get BILLED??

When we sent an email to Ryan, expressing our concern, he ignored it, and still have not recieved feedback. Warren in the interim intervened and we sent him the paper trail on 2 August, NOTHING DONE, NOR CONFIRMED, YET WE ARE BILLED - FOR WHAT?

Not the type of service one would expect from Afri-Host as we always speak and refer them highly to other people.

Guess one should never tap people on the shoulder for supposedly good service as it always has a way of biting you.

Warren / Ryan, please get your act together and reply on the service we pay you for on a monthly basis, or we will cancel any / all debit orders and pay you manually as we believe in paying for service and don't appreciatte it when people debit our accounts at random with NO service level attached to it.

This is africa, but we don't operate on this basis at all.
