No resolution to Telkom swapping my line number.

On Friday 3rd of July I was working from home & my Internet suddenly died. It turned out that my landline number had for reasons best known to Telkom suddenly changed from what it was assigned as on Telkom's system to a random new number. I phoned the Afrihost call centre & the consultant was floored, but he helpfully logged the fault with Telkom & told me he'd let me know if he heard anything. It's now almost 4 weeks later & I still have the same random new number. Someone at Afrihost re-enabled my Internet access on the new number, which I appreciate, but during peak hours (18h00 - 22h00) my router loses sync every 4mins. I never had this issue on the old number. It's extremely annoying. After numerous tries the most I get from the support thread is \we've escalated the issue". Despite there being a whole support thread with the entire history of my problem"
