New Mobile Offer ***** up

So I took up the offer from Afrihost with their new mobile packages which runs through the MTN network, and received my new sim card delivery 2 days ago on Monday (all RICA documents were ready and given to the delivery guy as required). This is apparently a 4 step process which will be ready the next day (because I need my current Vodacom number ported). It is now 2 days later which was fine for me as I understand there was probably a major uptake on their offer and delays are expected. This morning I wake up and my vodacom sim card is offline, no signal or anything so I swop over to the new MTN sim card. I follow the steps required to activate the sim card, which none of them actually does anything. After about an hour I phone Afrihost and the guy tells me to wait 20 minutes and phone the number again. Fine, I wait and phone the number, with no luck, now I get informed there is an issue I need to phone MTN which is a no-go for me (I tried) as there are thousands of pre-defined options on their support line and I have no idea which to choose. I phone Afrihost again, and now they tell me there was an issue with the RICA process and they cannot give me an ETA or if it will be today!
