New Customer

I have been using Afrihost for our Domain, DNS and Email hosting on a small package for about 6 months, had very little interaction with them. Decided to move from our current ISP to these guys, taking up their Fibre to the Home offering. We understood that a new installation would take time, and were willing to live with that. We got a booking from the Fibre installation company they came installed and left, thereafter things just stood still for about 2 weeks. We then reached out to Afrihost, requesting some form of intervention from their part (as this is the kind of service we got from Axxess, current ISP), it took the helpdesk 9 days to respond to an email which was generated by their support system, which at the time was showing the required division was active and online. Telkom offers better service than this. Try calling these guys....shocking. As soon as the Fibre is up and running, I will be looking for another service provider.
