Money hungry with bad service

I signed up for a 50mb fibre line in mid February 2026 and was charged for prorata fribe use untill the end of Feb, without having any installation done. 1 March I was charged a further R647 for the fibre line, but still did not have any installation at my home. After constantly contacting the call centre telephonically as well as via WhatsApp, I finally received a router and a ups. At first I thought it was weird since I still did not have the fibre line but a few days later the call centre agent informed me that this router was actually a LTE router (which I did not sign up for) and that I can use that while waiting for the installation. I was also told that the initial charge for the March fibre line and the prorata fibre in Feb will bed credited to my account once the installation was completed. Finally in 25 March I received the installation and my line was activated the following day. To my surprise my 50mb line was now a 30mb line and I also woke up on 1 April with a new debit order on my account for R996. Still no credit was given on my account and when I contacted the call centre again I was told that this amount was R499 for the LTE router fibre and R497 for the 30Mb fibre line. The agent could not give me straight answer with regards to the credits that I was owed and the only solution she could come up with was that I needed to return the LTE router! I was told that a manager will phone me back with regards to my query but to this day I have not heard back from Afrihost yet. To crown the entire situation, I found out today that we have only been using the LTe router for the fibre internet and that the normal fibre line is not even working. So I have been paying and waiting my money and time on things that don't even work.
