LTE sim card query

I had a 120 Gig Telkom LTE sim that i have just paid R699 for on 1 October, i lost that sim card on 5th October. Needless to say i haven't really used my data. To my shock Afrihost tells me i can't do a sim swap and that too bad for me i have forfeited all that data but they will only cancel that sim on 31 Oct. So if anyone finds that sim it means they can use my data...wow!!!! What upsets me is that how is it impossible to do a sim swap????? When you lose a contract sim card, you get a sim swap and life goes on...but now with Telkom and Afrihost. I have had to start all over again and reapply and now you wants R563 for a new sim...so in essence i am paying over R1000 for the same amount of data??? This is very *********, the fact that you don't tell your members upfront about this silly rule you have in place says a lot about you as an organisation.
