LOS light flickers

I called Afrihost to assist with my fiber connectivity issues. Had to hold the line for over 40 mins while I also tried their WhatsApp chat functionality. The consultant on WhatsApp told me to restart and ONT and said there is a “fault” with no explanation of the fault or when I would have my connectivity back up. The consultant on the phone just said my line is broken without giving constructive feedback as to what is broken or when it would be fixed, I had to keep probing countless times before he said Vumatel will send out a technician.

So much hassle only to be told that it takes up to 48 hours to resolve the issue.
