Line speed you pay for is not what you get

<p>You pay for 10Meg line you get a 1.5 meg line. It seems that Afrihost can not provide the service they charge for anyore and this is 11 months of fighting with them. Not even the MD "Gian" will get involved to make the service levels better. He does not return call which I feel is a sign of disrespect.</p> <p>On Saterday the line went down and when I got hold of them they **** to me about the problem. They said OpenServe is digging a hole at the circle which is 1 block from me and this was already dug and closed a week before and the service was still running.</p> <p>They will grab your money no matter what the service they provide.</p> <p>The consumerboard needs to get involved and set laws that non provided service should be credited, with alternates of major fines imposed on them like other countries do.</p> <p>Our problem is that the service levels are so poor in South Africa that we are starting to find this acceptable. Afrihost is one of these compainies that is riding on this, take as much as you can even if you do not provide the service</p>
