Line fault day 8
I reported my line as faulty on 11 February. I had to follow up due to no response on the 16th, after talking to an agent for 40minutes (was mostly holding on as she communicated with Telkom) i was assured that a technician would attend on the same day. I arranged for someone to be available all day for when the engineer attends however no-one pitched up. 2 days later (Sunday) the call was closed (received notice per SMS). rep**** to mails and sms with no response. Today i phoned the call center and the agent wanted to know from me what was actually wrong since this had been finalized and closed...really... After spending 30min on the call once again Afrihost confirms they will not reopen the call on their side but its still open on Telkom side. Keep in mind my ISP is Afrihost not Telkom. The only update after all this that i could get from Phumeza the agent i spoke to today was that, yes my line is faulty, they are still testing(although i have not been contacted and she can not tell me what they are testing or how) and i can follow up after 48 hours. I am really disappointed that an issue can take this long and the feeling i am getting is that Afrihost just wants to pass the buck to Telkom since i don't even have an open ticket with them any longer.
