Junk service and empty promises.

Unimpressed with Marius from your Retentions Department. I had a 10mps line installed with Afrihost about a month ago. I then had a discussion with him on Friday 16 August about wanting to keep my business with Afrihost and SADV instead of moving my business to another provider, as Cybersmart has a 500mbps line for R899. We spoke and he said he would like to retain me as a client and would up grade my line at the same price to keep me, but SADV didnt have 500mpbs packages. We agreed on keeping my premium at R617 or less and making the line 100mpbs, as that was the fastest speed SADV had. He said it was a deal he would monitor the upgrade, through the weekend and make sure it was activated on SADV side. By Wednesday the next week, I had heard nothing and the line wasn’t upgraded. Upon talking with Marius again, he had absolutely no recollection of our conversation on that Friday, and was wanting now to give me another free router etc… I stopped him and reminded him of what we spoke about - he clearly wanted now to renege on the deal and said he would call me back. Upon calling me back and he said he had relistening to the recordings, it wasnt apologies of "Mr Roeloffze, I slipped up , I don’t even remember what this whole thing is about", he tried to open with a loop hole in the recording. So much for trying to cover your ****. What junk service from an awesome company. If you want me, phone me and give me what was promised. Or I take your free hardware and installation costs and let Joe Soap down the road profit from it. Please can someone contact me as this has got me MAD!
