Is Afrihost lying to get Fibre customers?

Ordered Afrihost Fibre where they offered free installation and a router. I did a pre-order and the router was delivered long before the installation. Today I received an invoice from Vumatel and phoning Afrihost I was told to pay it as the offer expired. I must now pay the invoice apparently.
