Internet Line is always down
We pay Afrihost for our internet line, yet when you call them they say Telkom is responsible for the hosting and line going down, I see no point in having a service with Afrihost if they only blame Telkom.<br> <br> Agents at Afrihost make empty promises and just like Telkom they always pass the buck!<br> <br> I will Cancel this service and move elsewhere if this issue is not permentaley resolved!

We apologise for the problems you have had with your DSL line.
Unfortunately due to the nature of the DSL infrastructure, Telkom manages the infrastructure and are responsible for repairing any broken lines. We unfortunately can't guarantee that there won't be any problems, the infrastructure is made up of copper lines that run underground. There could be exposed cabling that causes problem with your DSL connection, your voice line could have problem which would affect your DSL line.
We can ask Telkom to repair the fault, so the problem is not occurring so often but there is no permanent fix. You also have to factor in the nature of the problem. Our team will contact you and provide you an update on the fault.
