Internet down, nobody fixing it, nobody cares
So my internet via Afrihost just stops working, probably because Hellkom decided that I didn't need it anymore. But my ADSL line if fully managed by Afrihost. So I log a fault them with. A day later I'm asked to try to reboot my modem. A day after that they escalate to Hellkom. Now I sit with nothing, 4 days later and all I get from the Afrihost keyboard jockeys is \We have escalated to Telkom". No ****. I can do that too. No mention of why"

We can fully understand your frustrations around this, not having internet for any amount of time isn't great.
I've had a look at the account and can see that's we've followed up with Telkom where possible. Unfortunately it seems like the issue seems quite widespread in the area. We still need to follow Telkom's processes and escalation times.
Saying that though, we'll definitely look at compensation for when the line is back up and running.
For now, I've send through an urgent escalation to Telkom management to try and chase up an ETR for you. I'll be in touch with you shortly.
