A few hours spent on trying to be connected and still no clear answers to why I am not getting the download speed I am paying for.
After numerous calls I kind of feel like I know enough to go and work for Afrihost and be a call center agent. - It does not take much, they definitely do not have proper training on how their own system works.
At least now I have internet, maybe I should just be grateful, right?
Why do we keep paying for things that we don't get? Why in South Africa do we simply say, - well this is Africa, this is what you are going to get? This does not make it right.
Surely, there should be some information on their system that provides clear answers to mundane questions. Not open ended ones like: What is the status of my line?
But rather can you see that my line has been converted to dsl on your side? - A simple yes or no would suffice. But the answer depends on who you are speaking to. One of the first agents I spoke to (two weeks back) sent an email asking me to wait 24 hours for my lined to be pulled through.
21 days and counting... I am not asking for the world on a platter. I am asking for some honest customer service and someone that will take accountability for their own actions or that of the company they represent.
Simple right?
