Inconvenience due to shortage on Afrihost side

I have been trying to get my fiber done at my new premises since the 31 March. No one has been helpful except Trisan today the 5 April. Now I'm told that there is a shortage of routers and I should wait another week OR I can buy my own at my cost of R800-R900 which is more that the package I have signed up from afrihost. Is this the service that is provided, the fact that the company has a shortage means they should come up with an alternative and not put me through inconvenience. Assistance required urgently.
