I pay for a 40mb line but only get 10mb
So ive been a client of afrihost for a while and service seemed to be decent, telling me to move my line to them so that they can manage it for me saying that i wouldnt have to deal with Telkom directly. ive had this line more than a year and must say im disgusted.. isnt making promises and making me pay for a 40mb line and only giving me a 4th of that some kind of *****? should i not get all those months money back? i now understand how your company is rated so badly these days. Your service center is so horrible that ive stopped trying to lay complaints or receive help from you guys...

Asking me to restart my router???
I have had multiple routers and i have multiple adsl data packages.
The problem here lies with you. tests on local isp sites all give me a 40mb line speed on tests yet on your client zone even though you make me pay for a 40meg the line sync rate never ever breaks the 10mb mark

it is absolutely appalling, and i would hardly recommend your company to any one ever again... if my account isnt fixed within the next week i will be moving my line as well (i used to be a mobile data and adsl data user, moved because your service is,how shall i put this ****!!!!! )
When a Client requests an ADSL line upgrade our system should automatically log the request on the Telkom system, as well as monitor the progress of the upgrade request.
If the regrade does not go through, or the line itself is not on the correct sync, our Team should manually intervene and ensure the ADSL line sync is corrected. In the case of your ADSL line, the order was processed correctly, however the Telkom system did not switch your line over to the full 40Mbps profile. Our Telkom Service Manager will intervene and assist with correcting the sync.
If you have any further questions or queries with regards to the above, you are welcome to contact us via ***.
Kind Regards,
The Afrihost Team.
