Harder to cancel than SABC - didn't think that was possible!

Cancelling with Afrihost is on a par with cancelling an SABC tv licence - IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Two different methods to cancel because a simple written cancellation does not suffice. Then after 3 weeks of trying to cancel they tell you that you need to send bank statements and they need to load the bank details on their system to cancel? Not to mention, they require a copy of your ID (not requested on signup), which you submit and they refuse because the image is in black and white not colour (in spite of the fact that the photo in the ID book is black and white). What possible reason could they have to request this information in order to cancel a subscription when there are no funds due and this information was not requested during the initial signup?
