Get you Act together Afrihost!

My daughter wanted to spoil me with a new fibre line from ISP host - Afrihost. If she only new the headaches this would cause her. She app**** online, and within less than a day they made the appointment for our new Openserve line to be installed. The guy came the very next week, and had to come back twice as they got our address wrong on the Fibre area provider although they send the guy to the correct address. All done, he said we just had to wait for the Router to be delivered to get up and running. We were so excited, waiting for the router. No router arrived, and we contacted them. It was apparently not part of the deal we took, but they would provide us with one if we pay the additional R250 delivery fee. We agreed and ordered. Nobody told us they had no stock. We have now been following up for two weeks on the router, and one day they do have stock, and it will be dispatched to us within 3 - 5 working days and the next day they don't have stock. And so the saga continues! Every day it is a new answer on the router we have already paid the delivery fee for! Hopefully we will receive a router before the end of 2025!!! Best of all, although we can't use the new Fibre, the first pro-rata payment has already gone off her account. She is paying for a service that is non-existent, with a lot of promise, but no delivery! Very disappointed in you Afrihost!
