Formal Complaint and Request for Call Recordings
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the ongoing service issues and lack of assistance I have received from Afrihost. Over the past two months, I did not make use of my Wi-Fi service. I resumed usage on 24 April, at which point I contacted Afrihost to clarify my account status. During my first call, an agent advised that the issue was due to an error on Afrihost’s side. In a subsequent call, another agent again confirmed that the problem originated from Afrihost. I was further informed that my service is on a month-to-month, prepaid contract, which raised serious concern when my Wi Fi service was later disabled without clear justification. I am currently unable to use the service despite having followed the guidance provided by multiple agents. I then escalated the matter to a supervisor named Precious, who unfortunately refused to assist me or provide a resolution. This conduct is unacceptable and does not align with the standard of customer service expected from a professional organisation. Additionally, I formally requested the call recordings from 30 April, which to date have still not been provided. This delay is unreasonable and further compounds my frustration. At this stage, I feel that Afrihost has failed to assist me adequately or transparently. Should I not receive immediate assistance and the requested call recordings, I will have no option but to follow the appropriate escalation process, including referring this matter to the relevant industry ombudsman. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and I trust that this matter will now be handled with the urgency and professionalism it requires.

STILL NO HELP FROM THEM now they refusing to give me the recordings to listen to the contract and they are refusing to give me a cancellation letter. they have suspended my line and sending me to pillar to post.

Extremely disappointed with Afrihost’s customer service. The managers and account managers I dealt with were completely unhelpful and refused to assist in resolving my issue. My line was suspended without proper support, and despite repeated requests, they refused to provide call recordings or meaningful explanations.Instead of helping a paying customer, I was met with dismissive attitudes, delays, and outright refusal to engage. This behaviour is unacceptable and reflects pathetic customer service standards. If something goes wrong, don’t expect accountability or transparency from Afrihost. I would not recommend this company based on how customers are treated once there is a dispute.
