Fibre connection nightmare.

I started the process to get fibre services from Afrihost on the 25th of October 2019. Today is the 4th of December 2019 and I do not have a working fibre connection in my home. I have been sent two routers that would refuse to reset once they had no connectivity whatsoever. I was advised by one of their agents to return the routers and it took them one and a half weeks to get them collected, I had to call six times just to follow up for a date when the routers would be collected. I have spent by a generous estimation 5 hours plus of call time on the line with various people at Afrihost. I also even had to battle to get help from a manager by the name of Vinay Moonsamy, who would refuse to come to the phone to talk to me and duck me minutes on end as I held the line pleading for assistance. He has since resorted to ignoring my emails requesting for assistnace. The routers were collected with help from a competent gentleman Ayabulela, but I was debited R200 without fair warning or giving consent and told that it would be returned to me if indeed the routers were faulty after testing. Today marks one week since the routers were collected and there is no response from that repair department even though Nhlanhla from connectivity requested that they call me. I have begged, pleaded, shouted and negotiated for simple service delivery but it has all resulted in a horrible experience. I am not and have never asked for special treatment, but I just need my services up and running. I rate the service rendered a -1000, its so inconsistent and vile that I even requested they shut down my request but I was told to pay a R1000 fee to cancel, as service I have never used. Horrific service this.
