Fiber Outage! Sure...

So our Fibre went down @ 17:02 on 04 Jun 2025. So log the outage, to be told is is a general Vumatel outage. At 08:29 05 Jun 2025, the "outage" is stil a thing so I insist on logging a call with Vumatel.

Now if this was an Vumatel outage surely other ISPs would also be affected so I checked, and Nope! Other ISPs are up and running without issues on Vumatel.

Vumatel phoned me, and gave the feedback that Afrihost did not renew their IP Leases with Vumatel. Now this is the second time this year this has cause an outage, and both times this has cost me a full day worth of billing. Yet I still need to pay them every single month.
