False Promises

I am appalled by the false promises received from Afrihost. On the 01st of February 2025 I sent an request for my fibre to be cancelled as I am aware a full month's notice is required. On the 03rd of February 2025 I received an email stating that my service can only be cancelled by the end of March 2025. There was then back and forth emails where I also stated that I was offered a free month's service this does not apply if you decide to go ahead with the cancellation. I then told them the reason for cancellation was that I was relocating to a new address and for my own protection I had to do the cancellation discreetly and this was then communicated to a member of their staff Sfiso M from their retentions department who fails to now respond to my emails. We then agreed that I would change my cancellation to a relocation and I would also then get a month free. I was also told that I just need to take the router and plug it in at the new address and all would work perfectly. Well, the fibre box was set up at the new address but not activated. I had no WiFi for almost 2 days. I was then lucky enough to get an amazing consultant to assist me on the 02nd of March to active my router however the next day I received an invoice for March 2025 and now no one is responding to my emails.
