False advertising and very poor customer services and business operations!

Very bad service and false advertising! I signed up with Afrihost through an agents that came to our estate in Midrand. They said it was not a contract and that I could cancel anytime.

I did just that when I moved from a fibre ready area to an area that was not. Sent an email with my details requesting to cancel in Feb 2020.

They did not cancel ...I've been bombarded with emails requesting I pay for usage I did not utilise and infact had cancelled.

It's December 2020 and I'm still being harassed for this amount.

I've moved back to a fibre ready area and contacted their accounts department spoke to Mathapelo and advised on this issue... Not willing to assist whatsoever and claims it's not a month on month service as advertised.

Was actually willing to get the service again but she refused point blank and advised if I do not settle the month I did not pay for the month I did not use, this will never happen.

****************... Pay for a service you cancelled and did not use or else?????
