Extorsion: trapped by Afrihost

My Afrihost account is going to be suspended because of the following scenario:

Last year, my family moved into a home with an active line from another provider. We requested the migration, but Afrihost only completed it around February.

In the meantime, we got LTE with Afrihost on special. I cancelled the migration and kept the LTE. Out of the blue, Afrihost contacted me to set up a day to complete the migration. No one was home, so they left. Eventually, they came back and caught us at home. We went through with it, and the service began without confirmation or agreement. I contacted Afrihost to request to suspend the wifi and cancel the LTE ( I cannot afford both in the same month, R1000). The agent did not do so, so after a few days I switched it off.

The cancellation of the LTE comes with a R1000 cancellation fee, no agent provided any advice or consultation to assist with managing this scenario, plus Afrihost wants me to pay an additional R520 for the wifi (which I requested to be suspended). So it feels and looks like Afrihost has trapped me.

I do not have R1520; it is not in my budget. I could pay it off, but I don't have it up front.

I have never missed an Afrihost payment and have a good financial record. Afrihost created this scenario. The Agent says that they do not allow for payment plans. It's upfront or suspension.

My question is, why create a financial hurdle for a customer who pays without problem? The result will always be losing that customer, because it tells me that my financial care is not a priority for Afrihost; getting as much funds in (even at the expense of their customers' financial health) is their priority. There has to be a solution. There is a gap in the customer service and services on hand.

Reviewer Update
Update: I forgot that I had paid for all the products that I use. Turns out Afrihost has not updated my account. The arrears that I owe are for a cancellation fee of LTE. If you cancel before 6 months than the customer is liable for R1000 (router cost). Why advise a customer down this pathway? Do the agents not know the ramifications of their own policies? I suppose the real answer is: The customer must just pay. If I want access to services with Afrihost or anyone else, Afrihost can block the line. I have no choice. even though my account is up to date. Afrihost advised me into this predicament: I must pay or else.
