Empty promises

<p>"We don't believe in contracts. You aren't locked and you can simple cancel at anytime" That's Afrihost marketing stragety that they don't honour.</p> <p> </p> <p>I informed that that i wish to cancel the reseller account and move all my domains to their server, asked them how to do it and they insisted that they will do it from their side thus i must just send them a request in writing. Sent the request as advised and they informed me that they require a "30 day notice" thus i am liable for an amount of about R700. I then paid the R700 witht the hope that they will cancel but they never did.</p> <p> </p> <p>They continued the charged the account and after i made follow ups with them they now said i should have cancelled the service after settlement. I reminded them that they said they will do the cancellation from their side if i put it in writing, i also stressed the fact that i was never told to send 2 requests to cancel.</p> <p> </p> <p>Their customer service is horrible and their billing system doesn't work properly and when their billing system fails to collect, they charge fees for their poor design of the system to the customer</p>
