DSL Line Converted But No Service
Hi <br> Signed up for DSL from afrihost and after 3 weeks received confirmation that my line is active, ( IMAGE CAPTURE ) as prove, now since 08-06-2015 still no connectivity and phoned numerous times and all they can tell me that i have to wait another 14-30 days, an invoice was send to me as i believe they will charge me now for service they fail to provide. I canceled my DSL from them now and went to Telkom, Also got snap shot of the line going back in pending mode on my client zone. The major issue is that every time i phoned them and they check from their side i received a mail telling me that i need to wait another 14-30 days for activation. I am frustrated of getting no service from them, if they do have a close relationship with telkom why do they wait longer for the activation than telkom ? I am in line of canceling all my other services from them and rather move all my hosting to amazon. That's more reliable and cost effective. I lost my interest to afrihost totally. VERY BAD SERVICE. Why after all the years i am with them they let me down?
Generally Afrihost is able to provide each of our Clients with a functioning and active ADSL line within a one week period, there are however a number of factors that can result in an ADSL line activation taking up to 30 working days to complete. Port Availability on the Exchange, as well as the state of the Exchange itself can greatly impact the waiting time for ADSL line activations.
We work with Telkom to ensure that activations are handled as quickly and efficiently as possible, and to hear that your activation took as long as it did is disappointing.
As your ADSL service is not yet working, we will gladly credit you with cost of the line and ensure that your line is in a state to be transferred back to Telkom at the end of the month.
If you have any further questions or queries, you are welcome to reach out to the HelloPeter Team directly via ***.
