Domain being held hostage after cancelling services.

Domain heing held hostage! Our domain was cancelled over a month ago in order to transfer it to a different service provider. Now they tell us we need to reinstate the service so we can cancel it before they will release it to another service provider. What kind of ******* is this? We already jumped through all their hoops and cancelled it using their own customer zone and niw they're trying to force us to renew the service. This is ******ion! And their bad service - things like this, are exactly the reason we cancelled in the first place. I very stronglyy suggest that current and potential customers look elsewhere for a service provider that does not use ******ion as a business tool.
