Disappointing Customer Service: Afrihost's Unyielding Cancellation Policy

I am unable to cancel my account prior to the payment date, which is on the 1st of the month. I understand that the cancellation deadline is the 15th of the month and there are no exceptions to this rule. I am relocating to Knysna, and my current package will no longer be in use. Unfortunately, I must pay R2000 for the internet services that I will not be utilizing, in addition to a cancellation fee for the promotional router.

I feel disappointed with the lack of empathy displayed by the service provider, especially when attempting to transition to another Afrihost package that would generate the same revenue. It seems that they are more concerned with maximizing profits than providing quality customer service.
