Disappointing!

<p>In the past when I feel the need to edit my Afrihost package, I did it on the day before Afrihost's biling starts as suggested by Afrihost's staff in the past. On the 24th Sept I downgraded my account, but to my surprise, instead of receiving a credit to my account, received a bill in ADDITION to the invoice I already received for October 2016! This means I am still liable for the old account, as well as the "new" invoice. I Googled their billing date and on a forum, they told a client that their billing run from the 25th to the 5th of the following month. I Tweeted their social team and they told me that the billing date changed to the 23rd of the month and was recently implemented. When I asked when this was communicated to the clients so I can check my correspondence from them, the question got sidestepped a few times and I had to repeat my question a few more times. When I asked for an honest answer on whether the change was communicated, the easy way out, i.e. the T's & C's were thrown at me. </p> <p>For many years I had a good relationship and received excellent service from Afrihost and everyone asking my advice on an ISP, I would suggest them. I still feel bad giving them a poor rating/review, but I feel this could have been handled better. </p>
