I've been with afrihost for many years now and have changed 5 months ago to fibre. Since then the service has been shocking, unreliable and hard to get hold of.

Worst of all, the cost for the 100mb line has now increased from R998 per month to R1317 without any prior warning!

I've decided now to cancel my line due to the massive increase in cost, yet, afrihost wants to charge me a cancellation fee and has made no effort whatsoever to retain me as a client. Worst of all, the cancellation only comes into effect at the end of next month as I am cancelling after the 15th, yet, they only send the invoice on the 22nd which is when I saw the increase in cost.

This sort of **************** is unacceptable!

Other service providers are still offering the same package at the original price of R998, meaning they can absorb the increase in cost by octotel.

At least give me the opportunity to cancel my line without any cancellation penalty if you are not able to honour your rates.

Please guys, do not ever register with afrihost and save yourself your hard earned cash during this already difficult time, as well as save yourself tones of stress.
