<p>I had two packages with Afrihost, one for web hosting, and one for data connectivity. After talking to some web designers to see if it is possible to streamline my webpage and make it more effective I was told their system is not very userfriendly with some of the new devices. I then decided I will let the package run its year course as I had paid them cash for a year. </p> <p> </p> <p>Then I have a data connectivity package with them that I pay for every month. So begining this month they invoice me for both packages under one total amounting to over a R1000. I then phoned their support people asking them to do a payment on just the data plan, as I don't want the web hosting package anymore. They refuse to allow me to pay for only the product that I want, and insist that I have to pay the full amount for both packages, and then I can cancel the package that I dont want. </p> <p> </p> <p>So I said to the lady ie, I have to pay for a full years package just to cancel it after I have paid... She said yes!!!! Now if that is not ****************, I dont know what is!!! I went onto my package to cancel it, but they have disabled the "cancel package" option.... Apparently once I do the payment for the "full year", only then will they make the cancel option available.</p> <p> </p> <p>So now I'm being bul**** to pay for a product that I don't need! I will not recommend these people to anyone.... One cannot believe that they are allowed to trade in SA!!! </p>
