Cancelation lies

Afrihost needs to be called out on this one. Epic failure. After 5 years of epic internet service, they failed on a biblical scale, right at the finish line. We've emigrated. In the middle of August 2024 we gave notice to terminate our service with Afrihost. A clown from Afrihost calls me to ask why we are canceling (I mentioned it in the comments, hello? Emigration). So, the clown acknowledges our canceling of the service, and offers a free month of service, which I say "helll why not for the new residents."..What the clown did not say is that "offer" of a "free month" voids the termination of the contract. So we have been billed for 4 months...Nice. R1197 a month. Getting a hold of the next imbecile at Afrihost, and explaining all of this to them in December, the clowns tell me that my service is canceled as of the end of January 2025. Not wanting to take any more **** from them I put a stop payment on it.Now I receive threatening emails about a service disconnect that I wanted done by the end of August 2024, we are in January 2025...and Afrihost owes me over R4000....
