Beware of Afrihost

Let me start by asking this , "What business doesn't accept EFT's ? "

When you sign up with Afrihost they only give you options of payment , Debit Order and or Credit card. They do not accept EFT's and Debit card.

The debit card maybe I can understand that but what kind of company doesn't accept EFT's.I currently use fixed wireless service they offer and I set up a debit order for it every month, When I top up I set a debit order and it usually goes off without any issue.

I did a top up twice and set a debit order for both tops and both bounced even though there's more than enough money in the account. I set up another debit order which they have added they're interest on top of and it bounces again. I checked my account again and there's still more than enough for everything and so I set the debit order again for a third time with they interest added on again and it bounces again. I call the bank and ask if there's anything wrong with my account and tell me it's up to date and that's there's still more than enough money in it.

Now they removed the debit order option and are pushing for credit card payment only which is difficult considering I don't have one and now they send me an email stating I must pay via credit card and I have five days to so or they will discontinue the service and will have to pay a reconnection fee to reconnect.

So now I'm being punished because they failed to take what was waiting for them. I tried contacting they support but no response. I sent an email to support four days ago no reponse , sent a email to accounts two days again no response , sent a email to accounts , support yesterday and no reponse yet. I don't think they know what S.L.A ( Service Level Agreement ) is or what support is , Customer service is not a priority for them and you cannot imagine the fraustration they can put you through.

Be careful of ordering any form of service from them , basic service can not be guareented from them.

P.S they send you emails everyday about pushing you towards credit card payments, They don't understand that not everyone has a credit cards and not some of us don't want credit cards cause of the damage they can do and the fact they contributed to our weak economy and huge debt ( but I digress )
