Bad service bad ISP

Good morning All

I have been with Afrihost now for about 3 years and let me tel you this is one of the worst ISP's I have had.

They hasve no sence of getting problems resolved and are quick to diflect the problem back to the client or Telkom.

What is a ISP? Lets see its a INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER that you pay to make sure you have connectivity to the internet according to the package you have app**** for.

Afrihost is no internet service provider provider as they can offer you no service what so ever.

In the last 3 months I have logged more than 6 calls regarding no connectivity bad speeds high latencies and not to mention billing issues. In every instance Afrihost cant resolve the issue as they need to wait for Telkom to get back to them then they dont even bother to contact the customer to give them feedback I had to phone them constantly to get feedback at one stage I contacted Telkom myself to get feedback.

One example that I have to mention I have noticed that my line is very slow I logged a call with Afrihost and they rep**** stating its due to the weather my router the filter or Telkom's line connecting to my house. The person responding asked me the client to go outside and look at the line to see if it is damage or worn. Come on Afrihost I am the client I am paying you to get this **** resolved now you want me to get on a ladder and check the lines? Realy?

Regarding the router and the filter these have been replaced more than once and still they refer to this as a fault location.

ISP's are quick to take your money and make promisses on connectivity but they faill to deliver and as soosn as you have moved your line to them its a nightmare to get away.

If I can recomend to anybody never use AFRIHOSt as they are the worst service provider out there.
