<p>If you need to have reliable web hosting steer clear of Afrihost.com - When something goes wrong, nobody knows what is going on. I tried the live chat, Facebook, support and telephone. When you as what the problem is, you get generic answers like. Sorry we don't know but our technical team is working on it. There are no ETA's. - When your site is down, don't expect constructive support. I was held on the phone for 11 min only to hear "Uhm, uhm, sorry, uhm, I don't know"</p> <p> </p> <p>I have a massive portfolio of sites with hordes of hosts. I assure you Afrihost is the worst. They do not care about you, or your loss of income due to downtime. My site was down for almost 24 hours with zero feedback. We have an online application based service and downtime affects all our clients. It's very unprofessional for us to not have any answers when our clients contact us. Afrihost should at least have the decency to provide information on technical issues.</p> <p> </p> <p>I urge anybody with sites that generate money to steer clear of Afrihost.com - This is a friendly warning to prevent you from losing money. I regret using them for our service and will find a provider who cares about their customers.</p> <p> </p> <p>There is a reason why they removed user feedback and revise on Facebook. Afrihost does not allow any public comments on their social media. This should be enough to discourage you from using them. It shows they are ********* and have more complaints that compliments.
