Avoid Afrihost and MetroFibre: Zero Accountability, Endless Frustration

1 Star is too generous. It has been 4 weeks, and my fibre is still not installed! Every week, there’s a new excuse. Afrihost blames MetroFibre, and MetroFibre shifts the blame back to Afrihost. Neither company takes responsibility or provides any real solution.

When MetroFibre contacts me, they act as if everything is on track, but then—surprise!—there’s suddenly an issue with the application. They claim Afrihost must resolve it and refer it back to them. But when I speak to Afrihost, they insist that everything is already sorted. This endless back-and-forth is beyond frustrating and shows zero accountability.

Even Afrihost’s WhatsApp support has reached out to MetroFibre, but nothing happens—they just ignore you. This is unacceptable and a complete failure of service.

Avoid Afrihost and MetroFibre at all costs—you’ll waste your time, money, and patience.
