Attention: Open Complaint for Mr Gian Visser.
Servus, Mr Visser I write this letter to you directly as you most likely have no idea what bad service your company is providing. Let me explain: On 4 Dezember 2024 I open a VOIP account with Afrihost. On 5 Dezember 2024 I submitted a request for porting on an existing number. This is where my nightmare with Afrihost started. The new VOIP request is still not issued although Afrihost is all paid up without any service provided. But the worst is the porting. I was send from here to there, every time something new. It became rediculous to say the least. However the best come on 13 Dezember 2024 when they state that porting is close from 11 Dezember 2024 till 6 Januar 2025 and I have to resubmit everything again the 6 Januar 2025. Unbelievable! And worst here we start all over again. Nowhere on your site or anywhere is any reverence that this is the case. Worst I have to resubmit after al that! Why can the documents not be kept till 6 Januar 2025. Why is this function not a normal part of your APP. You are an IT company? Worst is I did this morning and the whole ****** **** starts all over yet again. Every time it is something new! Please 1) Tell me the first ****** time what is needed and not piecemeal. 2) You got all my details already why must I keep on sending over and over the same papers? And please do not hide behind some obscure stone age law! I have a current service with Afrihost fully RICA'ed and whatever. 3) And this is the problem! Every time I have to give ID, Address and what knows what, otherwise I cannot use your services. Somewhere the POPI law and the RICA Law is in conflict. I need to protect my personal details under the POPI law but every time Afrihost wants a copy of my ID under the RICA law. Somewhere something is not right. 4) Automate the process in your APP and get the human factor out of the process or enable proper tracking of the process. This will enable that I can keep people accountable with consequences! My experience is more a case of using the RICA law to hide inefficiency and plain bad service in your company. Vielen Dank
