AFRIHOST....Where's my router??????

I would like to share my experience with Afrihost. On the 22 January I have signed up with Afrihost. I have searched the Net and got a good attractive package online that suits my needs. I phoned them and signed up. Great! On the website they said it takes between 1-3 weeks for installation and connection. To my despair, I phoned on week 3 to find out what the progress are. Only to find that my application does not show on the system and had not yet been scheduled. Ok, I thought, now things would start happening. On week 4 I phone again and only now my application has been scheduled but "they would phone" me was the answer I got. After phoning at least once a week, kept on hold several times, I was finally given a day and date the installation was to take place. Great, I thought. As per the website the package includes Free Installation, Free Activation. Openserve will supply me with a Wired Modem (CPE). A Fibre-Optimised Wi-Fi Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router will be sent with Installation as part of the order. After 6 weeks of waiting patiently I received a call that my installation would take place on the 27th of February. The operator said that Openserve would phone me prior to installation to arrange a time with me. On the 27th I waited patiently for Openserve to contact me for a time of installation. Well, I had to phone the again on the 28th after no one has contacted me. I had to arrange to be home incase they had phoned me. After a few minutes Openserve had phone me and said that they would be at my home for installation that morning. Great, very excited now things are happening. So, Openserve came and had done the installation. I have learnt then that I had to verify an email Afrihost had sent me to confirm the order of the Router, which I never received. No Router....The lady at Afrihost was so busy to tell me how I never responded to their emails that its not Afrihost at fault. I went back onto my emails and not even in the spam was there any emails from them. If I had received the so claimed emails why would I have phoned them once a week then? or why had not one of the operators I was speaking to told me that there is a separate process for the Router. I was told that I om only to wait yet another week before my router would arrive. I was not aware that this is a separate process and I feel that Afrihost should communicate to their clients properly. I am very disappointed and wish that I was kept informed about the progress and process. I have to sometimes work from home and are very depended on internet connection. I have lost out on weeks of service and now I have to wait again... I feel they are quick to take your banking account details and to close a deal but after that there is no customer service ever again!!! I wish to Receive my Router ASAP since I have waited far too long and did not really had any service with that!!
