Afrihosts lack of a fail safe for clients

I have been a loyal client to Afrihost for going on 5 years, and in this week their data center had some issues and my server was affected.. I work in IT so I do understand that issues like this do arise, but i truly believe there should be back ups in place when something like this happens as a fail safe for your clients, even if its just a bare bone recovery set up.

I have multiple clients that i provide web services and email hosting to and this has caused my clients businesses to be affected for more than 2 days... It took afrihost 36 hours to let everyone know that there was a fault and all the consultants could do is apologize for the inconvenience. There should of been a fail safe that allowed us to atleast get mails going so that you not stopping a businesses comms atleast

I am really disappointed in Afrihost's response to this and will be looking elsewhere for a new provider
